Another outstanding Thursday Nights at the Bandstand performance last night with Green River absolutely nailing hit after hit of John Fogarty and Credence Clearwater Revival!!!!!

Despite the tenuous weather forecast of the day ,a great audience had a blast enjoying some of the best down on the bayou swamp rock to kick off our nation’s 150th birthday weekend !!!!  And while “Have You Ever Seen The Rain” was one that fit an early part of the night………when the rain stopped and the rainbow came and “Who’ll Stop The Rain” started playing……well that just about summed up the night……Green River “Stopped The Rain”!!!!! Born on the Bayou….Run Through The Jungle……Cottonfields….Bad Moon Risin’.....Lodi…..Old Man Down The Road………and more and more…….Hit after Hit!!!! Just another great night of Live Music!!!!

A Canada Day shout out to the support of the City of Markham and our Councillors and Regional Councillors. In particular, in the audience last night, super fan RC Nirmala Armstrong appropriately dressed in Canada Day red and rockin’, Ward 3 (Bandstand) Councillor Don Hamilton and City Treasurer Joel Lustig.

With the soggy month of June behind us, Hotel California up next on Thursday, July 6 the incomparable sounds of the Eagles on a warm summer night!!!!
