Another incredible year of live music about to come to an end  this Thursday night climaxing with the sensational sounds of Chicago by Brass Transit, a Thursday Nights at the Bandstand favorite.

In closing our 11th season with Brass Transit, we celebrate the evening and the year recognizing the life and legacy of Lindsay Bolger on the 10th year following her passing and her B-Strong Brain Tumour Research Initiative that brought together a community in Lindsay’s quest to make a difference in finding solutions to eradicating the impact of brain tumours particularly in youth.

Thursday will be a special night.

The City has arranged to close Main Street from 6:00 to 10:00pm as well as Fred Varley around the Bandstand so that our audience can assemble all around the Bandstand including the street to enjoy a special evening of live music and celebration.

We’ll start the festivities a bit early at around 7:15pm with some pre-concert activities and then the Brass Transit, will hit it at 7:30 performing the incomparable hits of Chicago, one of Lindsay’s all-time favorite bands.

So come early…..and come hungry for some great music!!!! Look forward to seeing all there!!!
