On a day that the world sadly saw the passing of the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin, last Thursday night we were blessed to have Community Soul Project and Kolette Easy, surely the Princess of Soul grace our stage for an outstanding night inclusive of a tribute to Aretha Franklin with outstanding renditions of Natural Woman, Respect and more by Kolette. Community Soul Project was the perfect band to kick off this year’s Markham Jazz Festival. An outstanding night where we dodged a weather bullet with a great audience.

This week, first timer Solitary Man brings us Neil Diamond’s greatest hits and more.....Sweet Caroline.......Forever in Blue Jeans.....I am ...I said....Cracklin’ Rosie.......and more. A sure to be outstanding tribute performance to one of the greatest singer/song writer of all time.

Check out pictures of all our performances in our Gallery on the website at .Thanks as always to all of our Thursday Nights sponsors for their financial and other support of our Live Music community program.

Be sure to put every Thursday night on your calendar for an outstanding night of music and a great trip to our unique Village of Unionville, the Jewel of Markham. 7:30 – 9:00pm every Thursday night June through August at the Millennium Bandstand at the corner of Fred Varley and Main in Unionville!!!!
